Seismic improvement of the Santa Maria convent with AFRP aramid fiber
The Convent of Santa Maria Servivole is located inside the Matese Regional Park and the first settlement nucleus dates back to 1436. The sanctuary suffered damage as a result of the earthquake of 29 December 2013 and the subsequent seismic swarm. It was therefore the subject of a seismic improvement intervention that involved both the load-bearing walls and the vaulted decks. These interventions were and followed with the Olympus FRP line systems through the use of aramid fiber fabrics and connectors OLY TEX ARAMIDE 400 UNI AX HM with a high elastic modulus, restoring the load-bearing capacity of the structures also in reference to the mechanisms of local collapse of the walls.Image gallery
